Hey I'm Shay and welcome to my world filled with creativity, passion, and empowerment.I’m originally from Brooklyn, New York from a city that’s always busy. Raised in Seattle, Washington within the city that always rains where I became a certified wedding planner.
I became a certified wedding and event planner in 2011 and opened my business in April 2012. I’ve had the pleasure of planning some of the most beautiful and love-filled weddings along the West Coast and after 12 years, I’ve decided to change directions.
After planning weddings and events for over 12 years, I felt the urge to impact my clients' lives on a more profound and enduring level. I aimed to move beyond providing a fleeting moment of joy during their event. Instead, I wanted to create a feeling that would last a lifetime.
Following a health scare, which made me realize how quickly time can seem to run out, I decided to build a brand that encourages women to become the woman they’ve always dreamt of and live a fulfilling life that matches.. To help them truly live a life that's uniquely theirs and to become who they aspire to be.

2021 The Rebrand
In the midst of global uncertainty during the pandemic, I discovered my true calling as a non-traditional wedding planner. I was drawn to serve brave couples who dared to style their wedding their way, undeterred by others' opinions. I noticed that many couples prioritized their guests over themselves, and I sought to shift this narrative. I encouraged them to unabashedly showcase the unique details of their love story on their special day.

2022 - The Niche
To my astonishment, I carved out a unique niche for myself, attracting couples from across the U.S. I felt an immense sense of love and inclusion in the love stories of my clients. Our mutual comfort stemmed from the knowledge that I was there to support their wedding day decisions, not to dictate them. My role was to guide them on this thrilling journey, ensuring every detail was meticulously considered and nothing overlooked.

2023 -The Break
After a 12-year journey as a successful independent wedding planner, I found myself at a crossroads, yearning for a respite. I was uncertain about the future shape of my personal and professional life. While the joy of planning weddings remained undiminished, I questioned whether I wanted to expand my operations or continue solo. I wasn't envisioning myself as a wedding planner in my 60s. Consequently, I decided to take a sabbatical for the entirety of 2023 - a year that happens to be my favorite number. This break allowed me to experience the joy of a slower-paced life and discover my true passions.

2024 - HER
I never realized that 2023 was exactly what I needed! While some might perceive a step back from business as a failure, it was this very step that imbued me with the confidence I have today. This newfound confidence allowed me to restructure my business, launch a podcast, and initiate a personal blog. Most importantly, it led me to discover my purpose: to share my unique thoughts, ideas, and experiences with the world. This journey required self-discovery. I had to uncover who I truly was and design the next version of myself. This process provided clarity on who I wanted to confidently and intentionally evolve into.
